Mounting Location: To ensure maximum effectiveness, the FASD2 smoke alarm should be mounted in central areas of rooms, away from drafts, windows, ventilation doors, and directly above sources of steam (kitchen, bathroom). Installation in corridors connecting main areas of the building, such as bedrooms and living rooms, is also recommended.
False alarm prevention: The device features a “pause alarm” (Hush Mode) that allows you to temporarily silence the alarm in the event of a false alarm, such as during intense cooking. However, please note that this feature is only for non-critical situations; in the event of a real emergency, the alarm will resume automatically.
Education and training: To effectively utilize the potential of your alarm system, it’s important to regularly conduct evacuation drills at home, in the office, or at school. This will ensure that every household member or employee knows what to do in an emergency, significantly increasing the chances of safely escaping the building in the event of a fire.
