PPWR and EPR

PPWR Declarations of Conformity – documents issued by the manufacturer, importer, or brand owner, constituting a legally binding pledge stating the compliance of the packaging with the requirements of the EU PPWR regulation regarding ecodesign, recyclability, and hazardous substance limits. This document is a mandatory requirement for legally placing a product in a given packaging on the EU market.

EPR Registration and Declarations – documents and submissions confirming the fulfillment of the Extended Producer Responsibility obligation, through which an entity introducing packaged products to a given EU market reports the weight and type of materials used. They serve as the basis for calculating recycling fees and confirm the legality of selling goods in individual member states.
